Syn-Tactic Translation Workflow
Syn-Tactic runs their workflow as an online service. Customers send a translation request to our portal and Syn-Tactic will take care of the entire process combining automation, state-of-the-art tools with professional translation agencies. It is also possible to use just the automated workflow to automate file conversion, calculate TM matching, time and cost, create the translation packages and handle the process from there. Core of the Syn-Tactic Suite is a state-of-the-art database allowing maximum reuse of previous translations. Experiences in a corporate environment with a similar set-up showed savings of more than 60% on external translation costs.
The web-based translation editor allows multiple translators and/or reviewers to work real-time on the same project. It features an integrated translation window with multiple ranked segments, terminology window, preview functionality, either through a style sheet or PDF, which is synchronized with the edit window.
